From every student who came out to train, to my instructors who donated their time and knowledge, to the New Haven Fire Department, the Chief’s Office, the Benevolent Association, the Emerald Society, Port Chester Fire Department, Dobbs Ferry Fire Department, Ansonia Fire Department, CT customs fire training and paul D, Little Moments Photography, Mike Colon Media, Vulka, and every vendor, company, organization, and individual who made a personal donation—my family and I will forever be indebted to you.
Your contributions are going toward seed money that will ultimately help fund a research grant specifically focused on Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma (ChRCC)—the type of cancer my wife is fighting.
Our hope is that this grant can help fund research that leads to a better understanding of this rare cancer, better treatment options, and ultimately better outcomes for the people and families who find themselves fighting the same battle.
What all of you did goes far beyond showing up for a day of training or making a donation. You made a lasting impact on me, my wife, and our entire family. You gave us hope that something positive can come from one of the most difficult things our family has ever faced.
I am sincerely grateful for every person who gave their time, money, equipment, resources, facilities, food, or simply helped spread the word.

Over the past month, I have witnessed acts of brotherhood that have reminded me—and I think many others—that the brotherhood of the fire service is alive and well!
My family has been on the receiving end of that brotherhood, and it is something I will never forget. The love and support went to far and so beyond anything ever expected if I didn’t mention you I thank you!!!!!
